Contratos con cooperativas

Cooperative purchasing allows public sector organizations to utilize competitively-bid contracts without the investment of time and resources in issuing their own solicitations. By leveraging the volume-buying power of various agencies and organizations, vendors can offer lower prices through cooperative agreements. DataXport holds contracts through the following three cooperatives:

Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR)

DataXport offers DIR-approved preferential pricing to eligible DIR customers (generally state government agencies, many of whom are required to use DIR vendors whenever possible) on Digitech Systems, Inc. Electronic Document Management/Enterprise Content Management Software (EDMS/ECM) and Related Services, and Document Imaging Hardware, through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Cooperative Contracts.

ICT Cooperative Contracts save taxpayer money by leveraging the state’s volume-buying power to drive down costs on more than 750 technology contracts through a streamlined co-op purchasing program. In FY 2009 alone, the program had over $1.3 billion in sales generating more than $171 million in taxpayer savings.
